耳下腺唾石症の1例

A Case of Solitary Sialolithiasis in the Parotid Gland

I．はじめに

　唾石症の大半は顎下腺に発生し，耳下腺は全唾石の0.5～10％と比較的少ない^1）。当科で，1994年1月～2004年7月までに摘出術を行った唾石症は45例あり，そのうち耳下腺唾石症は今回の1例のみであった（2.2％）。

　今回われわれは，耳下腺に発生した単発性唾石症を経験し，耳前部S字状切開による唾石摘出を行い良好な結果を得たので報告する。

Sialolithiasis is often found in the submandibular gland,but rarely in the parotid gland. Sialolithiasis in the parotid gland was found in a 26-year-old female with a complaint of repeated pain and a swelling of the right parotid gland while eating. A sialolith was noted in the Stensen's duct on ultrasonography and CT scan. Surgery was performed with the sigmoid skin incision approach in the preauricular area,and the sialolith was removed. The post operation course was uneventful,and the postoperative scar was not prominent. The traits and procedures about parotid sialolithiasis were discussed.
