　はじめに

　頭頸部領域に発生する神経内分泌癌は極めてまれであり，一般に悪性度が高く予後不良のことが多い。最近われわれは喉頭に原発した神経内分泌癌の2例を経験したので若干の考察を加えて報告する。

A 73-year-old male (Case 1) and a 70-year-old male (Case 2) visited our hospital with a chief complaint of sore throat and bilateral cervical lymphadenopathies, respectively. Both patients had a laryngeal tumor in the supraglottic area. Case 1 was diagnosed as atypical carcinoid, Case 2 as small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma according to the light microscopic and immunohistochemical find-ings. The first patient was treated with radiother-apy and chemotherapy. Liver and bone metastasis occurred 10 months after diagnosis and he died of acute myocardial infarction. The second patient was treated with chemotherapy. He died of liver dysfunction due to liver metastasis 3 months after admission.
