外耳道に生じた化膿性肉芽腫の1例

A Pyogenic Granuloma of the External Auditory Canal:A Case Report

　はじめに

　化膿性肉芽腫は，皮膚および粘膜に発生する血管増生を主病変とする疾患である。本疾患は口腔粘膜や手指，顔面の皮膚に好発するが，外耳道に生じた例の報告は少ない^1〜5）。今回われわれは，外耳道に生じた化膿性肉芽腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 26-year-old woman was suffering from discom-fort of right ear for one month. A dark-red andpainless mass was found in her right external audi-tory canal. The mass was easily resected under local anesthesia and histopathological examination revealed pyogenic granuloma. Postoperative course was uneventful and there was no recurrence at the time of this report. We presumed that this case was mainly caused by chronic infection secondary to trauma of the external auditory canal by scratching.
