　はじめに

　鼻・副鼻腔悪性腫瘍の大部分は原発性であり転移性腫瘍は稀である。今回われわれは著明な鼻出血をきたし生検により腎癌の転移と判明した1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察および治療上の問題点について検討したので報告する。

A 79-year-old male whose complaint was nose bleeding alone, was confirmed to have metastatic renal cell carcinoma to the right nasal cavity and maxillary antrum. The metastatic lesion of the nose was resected with a minimal amount blood loss following a ligation of the maxillary artery, and the left nephrectomy was performed 6 weeks later, together with resection of a metastatic lesion of the left adrenal gland. Indication of surgery and the metastatic route of the renal cell carcinoma to the head and neck were discussed.
