上顎洞に転移した腎細胞癌

A Case of Distant Metastasis of Renal Cell Carcinoma to the Frontal Sinus

　72歳男性の腎細胞癌の上顎洞転移を報告した。鼻・副鼻腔への腎細胞癌の転移は稀であり，本邦での報告は自験例を含め42例目である。受診時の症状として，鼻出血が圧倒的に多い。転移部位の症状が先行し，原発巣が発見される症例も半分近く存在する。今後，鼻・副鼻腔は腎細胞癌の転移部位として考慮する必要がある。

A 72-year-old male who underwent right sided nephrec-tomy due to renal cell carcinoma three years previously,admitted to our hospital with the chief complaint of rightexophthalmos and swelling of buccal region. Magneticresonance imaging and computed tomography revealedthe tumor in the frontal sinus. The biopsy of the massshowe clear cell carcinoma. Metastatic nasal an paranasaltumors are relatively rare, but we must realize that thenasal and paranasal resion are one of the important meta-static site of renal cell carcinoma.
