緒言

　粘液腫は頭頸部領域では非常に稀な疾患で，幼児での発生はさらに稀である。今回，われわれは1歳8ヵ月の男児の右上顎に発生した粘液腫の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A rare case of myxoma in the right upper jaw occuring in an infant is reporced. The patient was an 1-year-8 month-old infant presenting a swelling of the right cheek. CT scan demonstrated a large mass anterior to the right maxillary sinus. Removal of the mass was performed through the right canine fossa approach. The pathological examination of the mass revealed myxoma. The patient was followed up 8 months after the opera-tion and showed no recurrence of the tumor.
