慢性副鼻腔炎を伴った篩骨洞骨腫の1症例

Ethmoidal Osteoma Associated with Chronic Sinusitis

はじめに

　副鼻腔に発生する骨腫は，症状が出現していない潜在性の物も含めると，かなり多いとされている。われわれは今回，慢性副鼻腔炎を伴った篩骨洞骨腫症例を経験した。本例は，術中所見では鼻石が強く疑われたが，病理所見により骨腫と診断することができた。その経過を報告するとともに，副鼻腔骨腫と鼻石を比較し，若干の考察を加えて述べる。

A case of ethmoidal osteoma associated with chronic sinusitis in a 41-year-old male was re-ported. The tumor was removed by intranasal approach. The excised mass was 2.5×2.0×1.0 cm in size and 7.0g in weight.

Although rhinclith was strongly suspected on the basis of a history of sinus surgery and intra-opera tive findings, the pathological examination provided a conclusive diagnostic evidence of com-pact oteoma. A comparative study was made of sinus osteoma vs. rhinolith on the basis of relevant literature.
