上顎洞に進展した歯原性粘液腫の1例

A case of a large odontogenic myxoma in the maxillary sinus

Ⅰ．はじめに

　口腔領域に発生する粘液腫は，比較的稀な疾患で，大部分が顎骨中心性に発生するとされている^1）。今回われわれは，左側上顎洞に広範囲に進展した歯原性粘液腫の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 26-year-old female was referred to our hospital because of a swelling and pain in the left maxilla. CT findings showed a tumor in the left maxillary sinus that contained small calculi and was associated with extensive resorption of maxillary bone. A biopsy revealed odontogenic myxoma. En bloc resection of the mass was performed through a hemifacial degloving approach. There was no evidence of recurrence 6 months after surgery.
