I．はじめに

　血管腫は頭頸部領域において口唇，舌，頰粘膜などに好発する疾患であるが，筋肉内に発生するのは全血管腫のうち0.8％^1）と稀である。今回われわれは咬筋内血管腫の2例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Intramuscular hemangioma in the head and neck region is a rare tumor. We report two cases of hemangioma in the masseter muscle. In a 9-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy,their chief complaints are a swelling of the buccal region at the contraction of masseter. CT,MRI and X-ray analysis was useful for diagnosis. Surgical dissection was performed with an extraoral approach under general anesthesia in the second case. Histopathological examination revealed cavernous hemangioma and 8 phleboliths were found in the tumor. Postoperative course was uneventful 18 months after the operation.
