Ⅰ．はじめに

　耳下腺に発生する悪性線維性組織球腫（malignant fibrous histiocytoma：以下，MFHと略す）は稀な疾患であり，渉猟し得た限りではこれまでにわが国では3例の報告^1～3）をみるのみであった。今回われわれは耳下腺に発生したMFHの1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　We reported a rare case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma（MFH）of the right parotid gland. A 79-year-old man presented with the chief complaint of a swelling in front of the right ear. On examination of CT scan, MRI and scintigram, a malignant tumor of the right parotid gland was suspected. The tumor was completely removed with neck dissection and diagnosed as MFH pathologically.

　Adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation therapy were performed postoperatively.

　Clinical course was uneventful at the time of report.
