頭頸部領域に転移した腎細胞癌の2例

Two cases of metastatic renal cell carcinoma in the head and neck

I．はじめに

　腎細胞癌は血行性の多発性転移をきたしやすく，頭頸部領域への転移性腫瘍としては最も頻度が高い癌である^1～3）。また，この癌は一次治療後に長期間に遠隔転移を起こす可能性があることも特徴とされている^1,2）。今回われわれは，これまでに報告のみられない翼口蓋窩に転移した腎細胞癌と反復する鼻出血のために手術を余儀なくされた上顎洞および顎下腺に転移した腎細胞癌の2例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　We reported two cases of metastatic renal cell carcinoma（RCC）in the head and neck. Case 1 was a 70-year-old male with the chief complaint of a left mandibular pain. Case 2 was a 64-year-old male complainted of a left nasal bleeding. Histopathological examination showed metastatic RCC of the pterygo-palatine fossa in the case 1, and of the left maxillary sinus and the right submandibular gland in the case 2. In spite of radiation therapy in both cases and surgery in the case 2, two patients died eight and twenty-two months after their first visit.
