喉頭軟骨肉腫の1例

A Case of Chondrosarcoma of the Larynx

I．はじめに

　喉頭に発生する腫瘍のうち非上皮性腫瘍の占める割合は少なく，軟骨肉腫は喉頭原発悪性腫瘍の1％以下である^1）。今回われわれは，輪状軟骨に発生した軟骨肉腫の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Chondrosarcoma of the larynx is rare. A 68-year-old man presented with dyspnea. In laryngoscopic examination,the stenosis of the laryngeal lumen caused by the subcutaneous tumor was observed in the posterior part of the subglottic lesion. CT and MRI showed invasive mass in the level of the cricoid cartilage. Biopsy was performed twice after tracheostomy. Histopathological examination revealed a low-grade chondrosarcoma. Because of the severe destruction of the cricoid cartilage,total laryngectomy was performed. Postoperative course was uneventful for ten months after the operation.
