Ⅰ．はじめに

　悪性線維性組織球腫（malignant fibrous histiocytoma：以下，MFHと略す）は軟部組織の悪性腫瘍であるが，頭頸部領域での発生は3～10％と少ない^1,2）。しかもそのなかでは副鼻腔例が最も多く約30％を占め，喉頭に原発するものは10～15％と報告されている^2）。今回われわれは右声帯に発生したMFHの1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 69-year-old male presented with the chief complaint of hoarseness. The red and polypoid mass was located our hospital in the anterior third edge of the right vocal cord. There was neither a swelling of the neck lymph node nor laryngeal paralysis. Histopathological examination under laryngomicrosurgery revealed malignant fibrous histiocytoma（MFH）in the vocal cord of the predominantly storiform subtype. Right vertical laryngectomy was performed under general anesthesia. Postoperative course was uneventful until about three years and five months after the operation.
