　Instantaneous powerとaxia powerの違いが，角膜トポグラフィーのカラーコードマップのパターンに及ぼす影響について，62例100眼（正常角膜，直乱視，円錐角膜，PRK術後，RK術後，白内障術後）を対象として検討を加えた。その結果どちらの表示を用いても，全対象において上記の6つのパターンに正確に分類することが可能であった。しかしinstantaneous powerはaxial powerに比べ，円錐角膜において局所的急峻化がより限局性かつ高度に表示され，PRK術後ではレーザーの照射部周辺にaxial powerではみられない曲率の大きな部位が観察された。角膜の形状を評価するには，どのパワーで表示されているかを確認して，カラーコードマップを解釈する必要があると考えられた。

We evaluated videokeratoscopic findings in 100 eyes regarding the influence of instantaneous and axial powers on the color-coded map pattern. The series comprised eyes with normal cornea, direct astigmatism, keratoconus, following radial or photorefractive keratotomy and pseudophakia. The findings could be classified into six discrete types by both powers. Videokeratoscopy with instantaneous power showed more localized and definite steepening in keratoconus than axial power. It also enabled detection of high curvature areas between the ablated and nonablated zones in eyes after photorefractive keratotomy. The findings show the necessity to take the power factors into consideration in interpreting color-coded maps in videokeratoscopy.
