  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

We studied 13 high myopic eyes with Fuchs' spot. By fluorescein angiography, the Fuchs' spot showed hyperfluorescence due to dye leakage from the choroidal neovascular tissue in all the eyes. By indocyanine green (ICG) angiography, the Fuchs' spot either showed hypofluorescence or remained silent in all the eyes except one. This ICG finding was different from that in age-related disciform macular degenera-tion, suggesting the different nature of underlying choroidal neovascularization in the two diseases. There was a tendency for the Fuchs'spot to be larger in more aged patients.
