　11例の難治性ベーチェット病患者にサイクロスポリンAを初期量300〜500mg用い，平均7.4ヵ月観察を行った。約73％の症例で眼発作の回数は半分以下となり，ことにほぼ50％の症例で発生は0となり，本剤が発作の抑制にきわめて有効であることが明らかとなった。しかし，軽度の腎障害が5例にみられた。

We treated 11 case with Behçet's disease withsystemic cyclosporin A with an initial daily dosisof 300 to 500 mg. These cases failed to respond toconventional immunosuppressive agents beforestarting the present study. When evaluated aftersix months of treatment, the frequency of ocularattacks decreased to one half or less in 73% of thecases. Complete cessation of attacks resulted in50% of the series. Impairment in renal function ofmild degree developed in 5 cases. Above results areindicative of the efficacy of the treatment in sup-pressing ocular attacks in Behçet's disease.
