　Pars-plana filtrationは，房水を毛様体偏平部より濾過する新しい手術である。この手術の最良の適応は出血性緑内障である。我々は出血性緑内障を合併した糖尿病患者6例（内硝子体手術後3例）および，網膜静脈血栓症1例（硝子体手術後）の計7例に対し，この手術を施行し良好な結果を得た。

　硝子体手術を施行した54例で，術後眼圧の上昇したものは17例であり，それらは炎症性眼圧上昇2例，Ghost cell glaucoma 8例出血性緑内障7例であった。それらの眼圧上昇17例中13例は無水晶体眼であり，水晶体および，前部硝子体膜の有無が，硝子体手術後の眼圧上昇に影響するものと考えられた。

Pars plana filtration surgery was performed in 7 eyes with neovascular glaucoma secondary to diabetes in 6 and to obstruction of central retinal vein in 1. Pars plana vitrectomy had been per-formed in 3 cases with diabetes and in 1 with retinal vein obstruction. The surgery consists in resecting the inner sacral layer, 5×5 mm, to-gether with the underlying pars plana of the ciliary body. The anterior edge of the resected portion lies 4 mm posterior to the limbus.

Following the surgery, rubeosis iridis disap-peared in all the 7 eyes.
