緒言

　1972年8月から約3年間に著者らが行なつたtrabeculotomy例の中から開放隅角緑内障眼54眼（55回施行）についての術後隅角所見を報告する。本法の術後隅角所見についての詳細な報告はまだ少ない。

Gonioscopic findings were evaluated follow-ing trabeculotomy 'ab externo' made 55 times on 54 eyes with open-angle glaucoma from the foregoing 3-year period. Postoperative goniosco-pic features were classified into the following 6 types.

Type 1 : Blood leaked from the site of opera-tion into the anterior chamber during gonios-copy. This type was found in 7 eyes. Type 2 : A distinct cleft was seen at the site of opera-tion. This type was found in 8 eyes. Type 3 : A finding suggestive of split was present at the site of operation. This type was found in 15 eyes.
