要約　目的：眼内レンズ（IOL）縫着術（ab externo法）における手技の簡便化を試みた。対象と方法：対象は，獨協医大病院において水晶体・IOL脱臼のためにIOL縫着術を施行した14例15眼。四角フラップを作製して縫着後にフラップを縫合し糸を埋没したフラップ縫合群7眼と，強膜ポケットを作製しポケット内に縫合糸を埋没したポケットフラップ埋没群8眼について，フラップ作製時間，IOL縫着＋フラップ縫合時間，総手術時間を比較した。結果：フラップ作製時間，IOL縫着＋フラップ縫合時間とも短縮し，総手術時間も統計学的有意に短縮した。結論：ポケットフラップ埋没法はIOL縫着手技の簡便化に有効である。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the outcome of pocket flap technique for fixation of posterior chamber intraocular lens（IOL）. Cases and Method：Cataract surgery was performed on 15 eyes of 14 cases. These eyes lacked capsular support due to lens or IOL dislocation. Seven eyes were treated by square flap suture and the other 8 eyes by flap with buried suture,or pocket flap. Results：Duration of surgery was shorter in eyes receiving pocket flap than square flap suture. Conclusion：Pocket flap suture was effective in fixating IOL without capsular support and more facilitated surgery than square flap suture.
