緒言

　中毛性網膜炎についての病態生理的解釈は，螢光眼底撮影を応用することにより大きな進歩を遂げたが，その病因の本態は依然として不明のままである。そして本疾患はだいたいにおいて片眼発症の形をとるが，時を異にして，また，ごくまれには同時に他眼にも発症することはよく知られている事実である。先に稲富は中心性網膜炎のfellow eyeにつき興味ある1例を報告しているが，今回著者は，中心性網膜炎患者25例につき，両眼の螢光眼底撮影を行ない，患眼と"健眼"の関連性について検討を試みた。

Fluorescein angiography has been conducted in 25 cases with central serous retinopathy. Par-ticular attention has been paid to the fundus condition in the unaffected fellow eye. Included were 3 cases in whom the disease had been present in the fellow eye.

Fluorographic findings in the fellow eye was judged as normal in only 10 out of the 22 unilaterally affected cases. Various abnormal fluorescence findings were present in the remain-ing 12 instances.
