中心性網膜炎に対する超音波治療

Clinical experience of ultrasonic applicator on central retinitis

I．はじめに

　一般に本疾患の診療にあたり，常に痛感することは，その原因の不詳という点であり，勢い対症療法に奔らざるを得ず，その際の療法如何では，病機の転期に支障を来す危険が充分含まれていることになる。私も本症例に対し，ニコチン酸（Nyc—lin），コンドロイチン硫酸，デキストラン硫酸，アドゾンVなど多様の薬剤を使用して，各種独自の卓効性をみとめて，報告してはいるが，症例に臨んで果してどの薬剤を選択してよいのか判断に苦しむ場合が非常に多い。

　しかし，現在の治療の趨勢からいうと，副腎皮質ホルモンによる消炎と，末梢血管拡張剤の使用が重用されていると考えられる。

Ultrasonic treatment was conducted on cen-tral chorioretinitis by means of ultrasonic ap-plicator developed by the author which has an output of 100 mw at the frequency of 12 KC. The treatment, when repeated for 10 mi-nutes every day, brought about either cure or improvement of the central chorioretinitis during its acute phase as well as of chronic, long-standing type with established scar for-mation in the macula. The observed benefi-cial effect of the therapy is interpreted as due to improved retinal and choroidal circula-tion induced by the applied ultrasonic micro-massage of the tissue.
