I．はじめに

　Hirschsohnが気管支喘息にPaspatによる脱感作療法を発表して以来，本邦においても同様の治験報告がみられる。

　現在でも，小児科領域では気管支喘息，皮膚科領域では尋麻疹および湿疹，耳鼻科領域ではアレルギー性鼻炎に対して，Paspatによる治療が行なわれることがある。

Forty-one cases with uveitis were tested by intracutaneous injection of Paspat, a preparation of autolytic products of various bacterial strains. Significantly high positive rate of 80.9% was obtained in 21 cases of Behcet's syndrome. The positive rate in uveitis entities in general was65. 8%.

Attempts at desensitisation by repeated in-jection of Paspat in cases with Behcet's syn-romed resulted in alleviation of systemic mani-festations of the disease.

Above findings indicate that Paspat promises to be of value in differentiating Behcet's syn-drome from other uveitis entities and in the treatment of the syndrome.
