ベーチェット病の治療法の検討

New Therapeutic Attempts in Behçet's Disease

I．緒言

　ベーチェット病は，その本態をめぐつて論議が絶えないが，近年になつてこれを膠原病に包括しようとする考えが有力である。が，自己免疫の問題がクローズアップされると，本病の病態を説明するのにこの考えをもつてする動きもみられる^3）。

　われわれは，未知の発症機序で初発したベーチェット病が発作を繰り返して増悪してゆく，その遷延性の経過に，免疫機構の変調が関与しているのではなかろうかと考えて，胸腺摘出，脾臓X線照射および免疫抑制剤の使用を試み，その意義を検討した。

Based upon the supposition that the retarded clinical course of Behçet's disease is due to ab-normal immunological process in the affected subject, thymectomy was conducted in one 9-year-old patient and radiation of the spleen in 12 adult patients totalling 1, 000r.

Thymectomy resulted in no clinically apparent improvement in ocular findings. The thymus appeared normal through histological studies.
