要約　目的：光学部の素材がアクリルまたはシリコーンで，同一デザインの眼内レンズ（IOL）の比較評価。対象と方法：98名の両眼に超音波白内障手術を行った。片眼にはアクリルIOL（AR40e），他眼にはシリコーンIOL（Clariflrex）を挿入した。手術の3日，1，3，6か月後にIOLの偏心，傾斜，前房深度，前囊切開窓面積，屈折誤差を測定した。結果：偏心，傾斜，前房深度には術後の経時的な変化がなく，2群間にも差がなかった。前囊切開窓面積は，シリコーンがアクリル群よりも有意に小さく，前囊収縮率も大きかった。結論：眼内に挿入したアクリルとシリコーンIOLとの間に偏心，傾斜，前房深度については差がなく，前囊収縮は後者が有意に大きかった。

Abstract.　Purpose：To compare acrylic and silicone intraocular lenses（IOLs）regarding state of fixation and other features. Cases and Methods：Cataract surgery was performed on both eyes of 98 persons. One eye was implanted with acrylic IOL（AR40e）and the fellow eye with silicone IOL（Clarifrex）. The implanted IOLs were evaluated for decentration,tilt,area of anterior capsule opening,and depth of anterior chamber after 3 days,1,3 and 6 months of surgery. Results：There were no time-related changes nor differences between acryl and silicone IOLs regarding decentration,tilt,or depth of anterior chamber. Silicone IOLs showed smaller anterior capsule opening and greater contraction of anterior capsule than acrylic ones. Conclusion：Implanted acrylic and silicone IOLs were similar regarding decentration,tilt,or depth of anterior chamber. Silicone IOLs showed greater contraction of anterior capsule.
