シリコーン眼内レンズをインジェクターを使って109眼に挿入した。眼内レンズにはClariFlex^(R)，インジェクターにはDK7788^(R)を用いた。カートリッジから開放されたときにレンズが回転し眼内で立ってしまうために，その回転を補正する必要があった。プランジャーがレンズ光学部のエッジを押すと，レンズがカートリッジから瞬時に開放されて表裏が逆になるために，レンズとプランジャーの接点を目視確認することが必要であった。シリコーン眼内レンズの特性を理解しインジェクターの操作に習熟すれば，眼内を片手の操作で挿入できた。

Silicone intraocular lens（IOL）was inserted into 109 eyes. We used ClariFlex^(R) as IOL and DK7788^(R) as injector. There was a risk for IOL to rotate and stand vertically at the moment of its release from the cartridge. In order to avoid this,it was necessary to correct the degree of rotation. There was another risk for IOL to be reversed when it was released from the cartridge by pressing the edge of optics. In order to avoid this,it was necessary to visually identify the point of contact between IOL and plunger. IOL could be inserted one-handedly after understanding the characteristics of silicone IOL and manipulation of the injector.
