要約　Laser in situ keratomileusis（LASIK）を行った近視15眼について，施行前後の角膜後面の形状を測定した。定点として角膜中心から7～10mmおよび6～8mmをとった場合の所見を比較した。LASIK施行前後の角膜後面突出については，両者間に有意差はなかった。さらに健常者2名について同様な測定を日を変えて計4回測定した。角膜後面突出量は，6～8mm定点よりも7～10mm定点のほうがばらつきが大きかった。定点を7～10mmにする場合には，角膜後面の周辺部が測定できないことが多く，測定不能部に隣接する眼瞼や睫毛が影響することが，このばらつきの原因であると推定される。このような事例では，定点を6～8mmにとっても差し支えないと考えられる。

Abstract.　We measured the morphology of posterior corneal surface in 15 myopic eyes before and after laser in situ keratomileusis（LASIK）. We took two fit zones in the measurement：7 to 10 mm and 6 to 8 mm from the center of the cornea. There was no difference in the posterior differential elevation map between the two methods. We also performed similar measurements in two healthy persons on four different days. There were greater fluctuations in the measured value when the fit zone was set at 7 to 10 mm.This finding seemed to be due to inaccuracy in measuring the peripheral cornea and to influence by eyelid or cilia. We advocate measuring the fit zone of 6 to 8 mm in such instances.
