　涙道閉塞疾患でのブジー挿入に必要な深さと，鼻涙管開口部確認のための硬性鼻内視鏡の挿入長を，臨床例26側と遺体2側について検索した。内視鏡には直径2.7mm，視野角30°のものを用いた。涙点から開口部までの距離は29～40mmであり，開口部の観察には内視鏡を3cm，開口部到達には4cm挿入する必要があった。

　We tried to identify the optimal depth of insertion of lacrimal probe and that of intranasal endoscope to examine the nasolacrimal opening. A total of 26 cases of nasolacrimal obstruction and 2 sides of cadavers were subjected to the study. We used a hard endoscope with a diameter of 2.7mm and visual field opening of 30 degrees. The distance from the lacrimal punctum to the nasolacrimal opening ranged from 29mm to 40mm. It was necessary to insert the endoscope for 3cm to examine the nasolacrimal opening and for 4cm to reach the opening.
