要約　目的：乳児の先天性鼻涙管閉塞に用いるために作製したブジーの紹介と挿入長の検討。対象と方法：長さが30～34mmの25Gブジー型涙管洗浄針を作製し，先天性鼻涙管閉塞がある乳児22眼にこれを使用した。結果：全例で1回の挿入で鼻涙管が開放できた。ブジーの挿入長は24～33mmであり，月齢と有意に相関した。ブジー挿入による合併症は皆無であった。結論：従来の乳児用ブジーは先端が鋭いために涙道壁を傷つけやすく，細い洗浄針は仮道をつくりやすい。筆者らが作製した乳児用ブジーは安全で有効である。

Abstract.　Purpose：To describe our new probe for congenital occlusion of nasolacrimal duct in infants. Cases and Method：We constructed a probe using a 25-guage cannula. Its length ranged from 30 to 34mm. This probe was used for congenital occlusion of nasolacrimal duct in 22 infant eyes. Results：A single insertion opened the nasolacrimal duct in all the eyes. The depth of insertion ranged from 24 to 33mm. The depth correlated positively with the age of the infant. Conclusion：Currently available probes for infants have sharp tips that may damage the nasolacrimal duct, and too narrow probes may create false passages. Our new probe is safe and effective for infants.
