  • Look Inside

We investigated the characteristics of patients with recurrent chronic venous insuffiency who underwent subfascial endoscopic perforatoring vein surgery (SEPS). SEPS was performed on 25 legs (primary varicose vein: 13 legs, post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS): 10 legs, the others: 2 legs) with C4, C5 and C6 of the CEAP classification. Eighty-six perforating veins (mean; 3.4 per leg) were ligated by SEPS. In addition, 18 patients who had incompetent superficial vein underwent saphenous vein surgery.
