A 22-year-old woman has developed recurrent bilateral hearing loss without vertigo whenever she had suffered from fever since her childhood. Hearing loss was occurred with fever due to not only infectious diseases of the upper respiratory tract, but the unknown etiology, however, the severity of the hearing loss depended on the degree of fever. She showed no apparent abnormalities upon clinical examinations of the immunological, hormonal, metabolic Functions and of the autonomic nervous system.
