  • Look Inside

A case of vertigo which was most likely induced by compression of the vertebral artery due to head rotation was reported. A 28-year-old male had suffered from vertiginous attacks at intervals of years.

VAG demonstrated the complete obstruction of the right vertebral artery at the atlas level when the head was rotated to the left.

The symptom disappeared with intravenous drip of plasma expander and cervical traction. However, since the VAG showed the similar findings even after the disappearance of vertigo, additional factors might have been involved to induce his vertigo.
