耳下腺周囲軟部組織より発生した横紋筋肉腫の1例—本邦報告例の統計的観察

RHABDOMYOSARCOMA DERIVED FROM SUBAURICULAR SOFT TISSUES

　I．緒言

　横紋筋肉腫は比較的稀な疾患とされているが，Weber（1854）の報告以来，診断技術の向上もあつてか，近年，横紋筋肉腫は年々増加の傾向にある。

　横紋筋肉腫は，従来，四肢および泌尿生殖器系にその発生をみるものが多いが，頭頸部，特に耳下腺周囲部に発生する横紋筋肉腫は比較的稀とされている。

　A case of rhabdomyosarcoma, in a woman aged 30, that metastasized into other parts of the body is reported.

　Following surgical removal the tumor the patient was given 6,000 rad. of Co⁶⁰ and VEMP treatment. The patient presently under treatment shows subcutaneous metastasis on the chest.

　A review of literatures showed 264 cases of similar disease in the 10 year-period from 1964 to 1973. There were only 12 cases of this disease reported in the literature of this country.
