耳下腺部に発生した胎児性横紋筋肉腫の1例

RHABDOMYOSARCOMA IN THE PAROTID REGION,A CASE REPORT

　I．はじめに

　従来，横紋筋肉腫は甚だまれな肉腫として扱われてきた。しかしながら，未分化型の存在が知られて以来，考えられていたほど少ない疾患ではないといわれだしてきた。現在，中胚葉からの分化の時期的な差，生じる性質や形態学的違いにより，1）Embryonal botryoid rhabdomyosarcoma，2）Embryonal alveolar rhalbdomyosarcoma，3）Undifferentiated adult pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcomaの3つに分類される。今回，われわれは左耳下腺部に発生したEmbryonal alveolar rhabdomyosarcomaの1例を経験したので，多少の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A large mass in the left parotid region of a boy, aged 2, was removed by radical surgical operation. Pathological diagnosis was reported to be an embryonal alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Postoperatively the patient was treated with 4,000 rads irradiation and chemotherapy according to Donaldson's regimen.

　Nine months later the tumor recurred at the same region. The patient was again operated with continuation of the chemotherapy.

　The patient is still surviving one year and 4 months after the operation.
