前立腺横紋筋肉腫の1例

RABDOMYOSARCOMA OF THE PROSTATE: REPORT OF A CASE AND REVIEW OF LITERATURES

緒言

　前立腺横紋筋肉腫は前立腺肉腫の中でも稀な疾患^1）であり，比較的若年者に多く，きわめて予後の悪い疾患である。今回われわれは前立腺横紋筋肉腫の1例を経験したので報告するとともに，本邦前立腺横紋筋肉腫34例を集計し，若干の文献的考察を加えた。

A 30-year-old man visited our department on March 23, 1983, complainig of urinary retention. On rectal examinaton, markedly enlarged prostate was palpated with elastic soft consistency and tenderness. Urethrocystgram showed slight elongation of the prostatic urethra and marked compression of posterior bladder. Histopathologically carcinosarcoma of the prostate was suspected by the biopsy specimen. Radical operation was intended following aggressive chemotherapy, mainy consisting of Cis-DDP.

Regardless of partial response to chemotherapy the patient expired due to the multiple metastases after 2 months from admission.
