緒言
横紋筋肉腫は一般にまれな腫瘍で，乳幼児の頭頸部，成人の四肢に好発するといわれている。このたび，右側精索に原発したと思われる横紋筋肉腫の1例を経験したので報告する。
A 20 year old student visited our clinic on November 30, 1968, with the chief complaint of indo-lent swelling of the right scrotal content which he noticed 4 months previously. A hen-egg sized, elastic hard mass was palpable in the right scrotum and was admitted for suspicious tumor of the right spermatic cord.
General condition was good with no abnormality by clinical laboratory examination and orchiec-tomy was performed on December 4. The tumor was encapsulated, although partial rupture causing hematoma was noticed, and the swollen spermatic cord extended to the external iguinal ring.
