慢性副鼻洞炎手術時の血液蛋白に及ぼすMoriamin-Sの効果に就て

　緒言

　血液並びに体液等の蛋白組成に就いては，既に盛んに研究が行われ，就中血液蛋白は健常時に於ては可なり安定した値を示して，身体の物質代謝平衡に極めて重要な役割を果している事実が明らかとなつた。又血液蛋白は種々の病的状態に際して著明な変化即ちDysproteinemiaを来すもので，最近此の異常状態に於ける血液蛋白の態度について医学の各分野から研究が進められている。

　一方アミノ酸が生命の維持に不可欠な体蛋白の供給源であり，RoseがLeucine，Isoleucine，Lysine，Methionine，Phenylalanine，Threonine，Tryptophan．及びValineの8種類のアミノ酸を必須アミノ酸と命名したことは周知の事実である。そして特に身体に手術的侵襲が加えられる如き場合にあつては，其の適切な供給を図ることの急務であるのは論を俟たない所である。

　Tamura and associates state that the use of Moriamfn-S prevented postoperative lowering of serum protein and thereby, promoted a smooth convalescence. They employed this agent by intravenous injections in 10 cases of operations for chronic paranasal sinusitis without any side-effects in any of them.
