上顎粘液腺嚢腫症例

まえがき

　1920年久保（猪）教授は「上顎粘液腺嚢腫（新称）」に就て発表し歯牙嚢腫との鑑別点を詳細に報告し，その成因を鼻粘膜の粘液腺より発生するものとした。外国では1893年Zuckerkandlが彼の著書normale u. pathologische Anatomie d. Nasenhohleの中に本腫瘍について報告して以来今日迄Nasenvorhofzyste，Nasenflugelzyste，Gesichtspaltenzyste等の名称で相当数の報告がある。その成因については尚多くの説があるので個々の症例について充分検討する必要がある。本嚢腫の化膿例は比較的少いが我々は最近本嚢腫の化膿した例を経験したのでここに追加報告する。

　HAYAKAWA AND YAMAGUCHI report a case of mucocele with infection in the maxillary sinus. The growth measured 2.5 × 2.2 × 1.5cm. and its external lining was remarkably thickened. The cut-surface showed division into multiple irregular compartments which were filled with amber colored ropy mucous that, on microscopic examination, showed epithelial cells, polymorphonuclear leucocytes and few diplococci. With chemical tests the content was negative for cholestrin but positive for mucin and the pH was 6.0.
