上顎洞骨線維腫症例

　緒言

　上顎に発生する腫瘍は種々あるが，之を発生頻度より見るに悪性腫瘍に比すれば良性腫瘍は稀なりとされている。而して上顎洞骨線維腫は上顎骨骨線維腫とも云われ，又上顎洞線維性骨炎とも云われて居り，稀な良性腫瘍中首位にある。之が文献上ではClaugard，Wylie，Uyeno，Hildebrand，Grünwald，von Hippel，Kaukelwitz，弘中・伊藤，佐々木，岡，広田，原，大野，鋤柄・松山，木村，斉藤・山口，加藤，田中，浅島，山岸，吉沢，菅田，宮島，三宅・日比野等により報告されて居り，最近私も頭重感を伴う頬部腫脹を主訴として来院した本症の1例を経験したので此処に追加報告する次第である。

　Yamazaki reports a case of maxillary osteofibroma in a boy aged 17. The patient complained of swelling of the cheek, dull headaches and profuse postnasal discharges. By X-ray examination a dense shaddow was revealed in the left maxillary sinus that infiltrated the ethmoids of the same side. The diagnosis of osteofibroma was established by microscopic examination of the biopsy specimen. Following surgical treatment the patient recovered uneventfully in 2 months; no recurrence of original trouble is recognized at present writing, 2 years after the operation.
