緒言
われわれは，従来，腎瘻造設あるいは尿管皮膚瘻造設が適応とされていた尿管閉塞症例に対してdouble pigtail ureteral stentを試みて良好な結果を得たので報告する。
Double pigtail ureteral stents were used in 8 cases of ureteral obstruction. The causes of ureteral obstruction were renal tuberculosis in 2 cases, the postoperative stricture of renal and ureteral stones in 2 cases of benign prostatic hypertrophy in 1 case and the retroperitoneal metastasis of stomach cancer in 3 cases.
The life performance was better in patients treated by this procedure than in those who underwent nephrostomy or uretero cutaneoustomy.
Furthermore, it may be possible to cure ureteral stenosis by this procedure.
