緒言
前立腺癌の血清学的検査として，酸性フォスファターゼ（total acid phosphatase以下TACPと略す），前立腺性酸性フォスファターゼ（Prostaticacid Phosphatase以下PAPと略す）の定量を行ない，stage分類と治療方針の決定とに役立つている。今回，われわれはPAPの免疫電気向流法（counter immunoelectrophoresis以下CIEP法と略す）による測定値を従来の測定方法と比較検討した。
We compared counterimmunoelectrophoresis (CIEP) with chemical assay for prostatic acid phos-phatase in the diagnosis of prostatic carcinoma.
Serum samples were collected from 15 patients with prostatic carcinoma and 10 patients with benign prostatic hypertrophy.
Utilizing the specific antibody to prostatic acid phosphatase, the values more than O. 4 IU/L were estimated as positive.
Sera from patients with prostatic carcinoma(0/2 of stage B, 1/4 stage C, 5/9 stage D)gave positive results.
In sera from patients with benign prostatic hypertrophy, only one case was positive.
