糖尿病を伴つた陰嚢壊疽の2例

TWO CASES OF NECROTIZING FASCIITIS OF THE SCROTUM WITH DIABETES MELLITUS

緒言

　陰嚢壊疽は1884年Fournieri^1）により最初に報告されて以来現在までに300例以上報告されていると言われている^2）。医療が進歩し，有効な抗生物質が入手しやすくなつた現在では陰嚢壊疽は稀な疾患と考えられるが，早期に発見し適切な処置が施されないと，致死率の高い疾患である。最近われわれは糖尿病を伴つた陰嚢壊疽の2症例を経験し，積極的な治療により治癒せしめ得たので報告し，最近の治療法について言及する。

Two cases of necrotizing fasciitis of the scrotum with diabetes mellitus were reported. The importance of the early diagnosis and the subsequent vigourous treatment were emphasized because the mortality continues to be high if treated inadvertently. Followings are to be strictly observed when dealing with patients with necrotizing fasciitis.

1) The most and only effective treatment is incision and drainage with extensive debridement of all necrotic tissue. Repeated debridement, if indicated, is necessary.
