鼻前庭に発生したsolitary fibrous tumorの1例

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) in the nasal vestibule：A case report

Ⅰ．はじめに

　Solitary fibrous tumor（以下，SFTと略す）とは1931年にKlempererら^1）によってはじめて報告された腫瘍である。SFTは胸膜好発で中皮細胞起源とされていたが，現在は全身にわたって広く分布するCD34陽性の線維芽細胞様間葉細胞ないし，樹状間質細胞がSFTの細胞起源として想定されている^2）。今回，われわれは比較的稀な胸膜外のSFTを鼻前庭で経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 71-year-old man presented with complaint of nasal obstruction. A smooth mass was observed in the right nasal vestibule. The mass was removed through a sublabial approach. The light microscopic feature showed an interlacing proliferation pattern of small spindled-shaped tumor cells. Immunohistochemical studies showed positivity of the tumor cells for vimentin and CD34 compatible with the diagnosis of SFT. We must carefully follow up on this present patient because SFT has a tendency toward local recurrence and histological malignancy.
