はじめに

　孤立性線維性腫瘍（solitary fibrous tumor：SFT）は，胸膜に好発する間葉系腫瘍である。胸膜外においては腹腔，後腹膜，骨盤腔，四肢などさまざまな部位から発生し^1,2），頭頸部領域では鼻副鼻腔，頸部，顔面皮下，口腔などからの発生が報告されている^3）。今回われわれは，鼻中隔に発生したSFTの1例を経験したので報告する。

　A 68-year-old woman presented with a 4-month history of left-sided nasal obstruction. She had an elastic-hard, pinkish mass with a smooth surface arising from the most posterior part of the left surface of the nasal septum. Computed tomography revealed a well-defined, heterogeneously-enhancing mass measuring 3×2 cm at that site. The histopathological diagnosis of a biopsy specimen was solitary fibrous tumor. She underwent complete tumor resection via transnasal endoscopic approach using a high-frequency bipolar coagulator（Coblator）. Intraoperative blood loss was minimum and her postoperative course was uneventful. The patient has been free from disease for 11 months after surgery. Clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of solitary fibrous tumor were bibliographically reviewed.
