陰嚢内に発生したsolitary fibrous tumor

A Case with Solitary Fibrous Tumor in the Scrotum

　症例は70歳，男性。40歳頃より右陰嚢内腫瘤を自覚し，無痛のため放置していたが，65歳時に急速な増大傾向を自覚した。右高位精巣摘除術を行い，病理組織診断はsolitary　fibrous tumorであった。

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is common neoplasm of the pleura but rarely reported in the genitourinary region. A 70 year-old man recognized painless mass in the right scrotum for 30 years. CT scan in August,1996 showed a well-circumscribed, enhanced tumor. Following 5 years, this tumor showed remarkable growth. Right orchiectomy was performed on May 27,1999 and the histological diag-nosis was SFT. Positive immunohistochemical stainings for CD-34 and bcl-2 were useful for pathological diagnosis. SFT in the scrotum has scarcely been reported.
