インターフェロン投与中に両眼に網膜中心静脈閉塞症を発症した過粘稠度症候群を伴った白血病の1例

A case of bilateral central vein occlusion during interferon therapy for leukemia with hyperviscosity syndrome

（展示237）　29歳男性の慢性骨髄性白血病に対して，インターフェロンα600万単位を隔日に投与開始した。第4回目の投与後，両眼に切迫型網膜中心静脈閉塞症が発症した。インターフェロン中止とウロキナーゼ投与で，眼底所見は4週後に軽快した。白血病による過粘稠度症候群が基盤にあり，インターフェロン投与が網膜中心静脈閉塞症発症の誘因になったと解釈された。

A 29-year-old male had been treated by systemic interferon for chronic myelocytic leukemia. Impending central retinal vein occlusion developed 10 days after start of interferon therapy. The fundus lesions subsided 4 weeks after systemic urokinase and discontinuation of interferon. The central retinal vein occlusion appeared to have been caused by underlying hyperviscosity syndrome secondary to leukemia and triggered by systemic interferon.
