ジピベフリン点眼液とβ-遮断点眼液の併用投与に関する臨床的研究

Clinical evaluation of combination therapy with dipivefrine and beta -blocker eye drops

　ジピベフリン点眼液とβ-遮断点眼液の併用投与による有効性と安全性を，それぞれの点眼液の単独投与時と比較するとともに，点眼液の治療順序による併用効果を検討する目的で，高眼圧症，落屑症候群を含む原発開放隅角緑内障患者168眼を対象として，多施設共同オープン試験を実施した。

　ジピベフリン点眼液とβ-遮断点眼液の併用投与時の眼圧は，それぞれの点眼液の単独投与時に比して，有意差もしくは有意な傾向を示して下降したが，β-遮断点眼液を単独投与した後，ジピベフリン点眼液を追加投与した群では用量依存性が認められず，散瞳作用が強く現れる傾向が認められた。

Efficacy and safety of the combination therapy by dipivefrine eye drops and β-blocker eye drops were studied in 168 eyes with primary open angle glaucoma, ocular hypertension and pseudo-exfolia-tion syndrome in comparison with those of the respective single drug therapy. At the same time, combination efficacy by the order of use of the drugs was studied. The studies were peformed as a multi-institutional open trial.

As the result, a significant decrease or a decreas-ing tendency in intraocular pressure was noted following combination drug therapy as compared with the respective single drug therapy. In the group which was given β-blocker eye drops first followed by dipivefrine eye drops, no dose response was found except marked mydriasis.
