テトラサイクリン点眼液について

On tetracycline ophthalmic solution

I．緒言

　眼局所へのテトラサイクリンの応用は，主に軟膏と油剤の形で使われている。いうまでもなく，安定で滞溜時間が長いからである。けれども，此の形のものを点眼すると，霧視や粘著感があつて嫌がる人が少くないし，また人に依つては，過敏症を生じ却つて炎症が消褪し難い人もある。此の様な点を考慮して，使い易い様にする為には，矢張り安定した点眼液の必要が痛感せられる。これまで発表せられたテトラサイクリンの点眼液には次の様な処方例がある。

　1）テトラサイクリン塩酸塩　0.5g

The author applied tetracycline ophthalmic solution tetracycline hydrochloride (0.5g), so-dium borate (0.45~0.50g), sodium chloride (0.9g), sodium sulfite (0.1~0.2g), and distilled water (100cc)—ordered by J. Shibasaki to the diseases in forepart of the eye-ball.

It was effective for acute catarrhal conjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, serpinginous corneal ulcer, epidemic ceratoconjunctivitis, and trachoma, and there was no stimulus and ill effect, further the discoloration was tarried.

Therefore it was recommendable as an excellent medical preparation.
