  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

A 59-year-old male presented with geographic choroiditis in both eyes. The acute stage of the disease was characterized by persistent hypofluorescence by fluorescein and indocyanine green (ICG) angiography. Some large choroidal vessels were blocked by the hypofluorescent patch by both angiographic methods. The blockage phenomenon disappeared after 1 month. The blockage appeared to be due to the swollen retinal pigment epithelium caused by obstruction of precapillary arterioles in the choroid.
