人工眼内レンズの成績—第1報 眼圧との関係

The results of intraocular lens implantation.:Report 1. The relationship between intraocular pressure and intraocular lens implantation

緒　言

　人工眼内レンズは1949年Ridley^1）が初めてacrylic lensを使用した臨床報告をして以来，多くの追試，改良が加えられ次々に優秀な眼内レンズが開発されてきている。就中，1958年Bink-horst^2）のiris-clip lensが登場してからその成績はかなり安定したものになつたといえる。その後もiridocapsular lens，後房レンズの開発^3）など，いろいろなタイプのより安全性の高い眼内レンズを求めて多くの研究がなされているのは周知のところである。わが国でも竹内^4）が始めてまとまつた臨床報告を行つたのに続き，既にかなりの数の報告^5〜7）がみられ次第に普及してきている。

　人工眼内レンズ挿入後の偶発症に関しても既に若干の報告がみられるが，緑内障に関する報告^8〜12）は少なく，人工眼内レンズと緑内障の問題を本格的にとり上げたのはSmithら^13）のみであり，まだ検討の余地があろう。

We evaluated the relationship between the intra-ocular pressure and artificial lens implantation. We performed artificial lens implantation in 57 eyes (4.0),) out of a series of 1,422 cataract surgeries during the period from June 1976 through Novem-ber 1978. We used 52 iris-clip linscs (llinkhort type 1), 2 iridocapsular lenses (Binkhorst type 4), 2 two-loop lenses (Worst Medallion lens) and 1 circular-loop lens (Worst Medallion lens).
