術式の相違による眼内レンズ移植後早期の眼圧経過

Early course of intraocular pressure following intraocular lens implantation using two different procedures

　眼内レンズ挿入術を行った白内障102眼につき，術後早期の眼圧経過を測定した。水晶体摘出は，嚢外摘出術（ECCE）を50眼，超音波乳化吸引術（PEA）を52眼に行った。ECCE群では，手術当日，翌日，翌々日の眼圧が術前眼圧に比べて有意に上昇していた。PEA群では，術当日にのみ眼圧が上昇していた。ECCE群での術後眼圧は，PEA群より有意に高い経過をとった。

We evaluated the course of intraocular pressure (IOP) in 102 eyes during the postoperative two days following intraocular lens implantation. Cataract surgery was performed either with extracapsular cataract extraction (ECCE) in 50 eyes and with phacoemulsification-aspiration (PEA) in 52 eyes. The ECCE group showed elevated IOP on day 0, day 1 and day 2 of surgery as compared with the preopeartive value.The PEA group showed elevated IOP only on day 0 of surgery. Thus, the ECCE group showed significant elevation of IOP after surgery than PEA group.
